Frequently Asked Questions
Find quick answers to common questions about our compounding services, processes, and how we work.
Do you work with insurance for compounded medications?
A lot of insurance companies don’t pay for compounds, but some do! We always like to work with insurance to see if it is covered, or partially covered. We also like to keep our prices very reasonable because we know a lot of insurances don’t cover.
How long does it take to fill a compounded prescription?
Most medications we can have ready the same day it is requested! This is a unique feature of our pharmacy. We can ship it same day, or you can pick it up. We will always let you know how long it will take.
Do I need a special type of prescription for a compounded item?
Yes. All compounded medications are patient-specific and require a valid prescription from a licensed provider.
Do you ship medications?
Yes! We offer free standard shipping via USPS. We can also accommodate special shipping requests (e.g., overnight, on ice) for an additional fee that covers the postage and special packaging.
Can I pick up my prescriptions if I prefer?
Absolutely. You can choose to pick up your prescription at our pharmacy in Sandy, UT. We will text or call you as soon as it’s ready.
What are your business hours?
Our pharmacy is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Mountain Time.
What kind of quality standards do you follow?
We adhere to the strictest quality and safety standards. Our pharmacy is fully compliant with all USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800 standards for compounding, as well as all DEA and DOPL requirements.
How do I request a refill?
Requesting a refill is simple. Just give us a call or send us a text message at 801-662-0265, and we will get it processed for you.
Do you offer patient counseling?
Yes. Patient counseling is a core part of our service. Our pharmacists are always available to answer your questions and ensure you understand your medication. We’ve found our patients truly appreciate the time we take to help them on their health journey.
